Unable to Install Skyline VPN on Android? Receiving Risk or Malware Warnings?

📢 Important Notice:
Skyline VPN is developed using the Flutter cross-platform framework and does not contain any malicious code. You can safely install and use it. If you have concerns, you may verify its security through global online software scanning platforms. Skyline VPN guarantees a safe and virus-free experience.

Why Am I Seeing a Risk or Malware Warning?

📌 Main Reason:
Some Chinese Android brands (e.g., Xiaomi, Vivo, Huawei, etc.) have built-in security screening programs that restrict apps not registered within China. These restrictions often result in false malware alerts, particularly for VPN applications, which are subject to stricter controls and may even be blocked from installation.

Solutions

1️⃣ Enable Airplane Mode / Install Offline
Before installing Skyline VPN, turn on Airplane Mode or disable Wi-Fi and mobile data, then try installing again.

2️⃣ Disable "Clean Mode" or "Security Mode"
-Many Chinese smartphone brands enable security settings by default, which block non-official apps from installing.

-You may need to manually disable these settings. Steps may vary by brand:

Xiaomi: Settings → Security → Turn off Clean Mode
Huawei: Settings → Security → Turn off App Control
Vivo: App Store → Settings → Turn off Security Check

3️⃣ Ignore Security Warnings & Manually Install
If you see a "Risk Warning" or "Installation Blocked" message, try selecting "Install Anyway" or "Ignore Warning" to proceed.

4️⃣ Use an International ROM Version
-Some Chinese smartphone models have an international ROM version that does not enforce these restrictions.
-If available, you can switch to an official global ROM for a smoother experience.
-⚠️ Warning: Flashing a different ROM carries risks—proceed only if you have the necessary expertise.

🔍 Future Plans
Skyline VPN is actively working on anti-detection mechanisms, which will be integrated into future versions to minimize installation issues.
